General Terms and Conditions of Sale
(Terms and Conditions)
1. Purpose of the contract
These general terms and conditions of sale are intended for the exclusive use of booking stays at the Montagnerot gîte. They constitute the rental contract between the owner and the tenant.
2. Booking Process
The website montagnerot.fr presents the services offered by the gîte. Booking is made exclusively via email ( contact@montagnerot.fr ).
The reservation becomes firm after written confirmation from the owner via email.
A deposit may be required to definitively confirm the period (specified during the exchange).
3. Prices and Payment
The prices quoted by email are inclusive of all charges (water, electricity, heating), unless otherwise stated.
Tourist tax: This is collected in addition according to the rate in force in the municipality.
Balance: Payment of the balance of the stay is due no later than arrival at the cottage.
4. Cancellation
Any cancellation must be notified to the owner by email.
By the tenant: In case of cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the stay, the deposit remains with the owner.
By the owner: The owner pays the tenant the full amount paid.
5. Arrival and Departure
The tenant must arrive on the day and at the time agreed upon during booking. The cottage must be vacated on the day of departure in a reasonably clean condition.
6. Inventory and Security Deposit
A security deposit may be required upon arrival. It will be refunded upon departure, less any deductions for damages or cleaning costs if the property is not left clean.
7. Pet Reception
Pets are welcome in Montagnerot, subject to strict adherence to the following rules:
No access to rooms: For hygiene reasons and to prevent future allergies, animals are not allowed in sleeping areas.
Swimming Pool Area: Animals are strictly prohibited from entering the swimming pool area.
The tenant agrees to pick up the droppings in the garden and to ensure that the animal does not cause any noise or damage.
8. Capacity
This contract is established for a maximum occupancy defined at the time of booking. The owner reserves the right to refuse any additional, unforeseen guests.
9. Liability and Insurance
The tenant is responsible for all damages caused by them (or their pet). They are required to have holiday insurance. The owner accepts no responsibility for theft or damage to the tenants' personal belongings.
10. Disputes
In the event of a dispute, the parties will endeavor to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the courts of the jurisdiction where the gîte is located will have sole jurisdiction.
