In the heart of Burgundy, Montagnerot is a 15th century family home that we have chosen to transform into a holiday home for stays with a group of up to 12 people.
A story
transmission
Montagnerot has belonged to the Baudouin family since 1899.
"My grandparents lived there until 2017, making this house a true family anchor." Sophie Baudouin
When the question of its future arose, we made a simple choice: to preserve the house and keep it alive. We then embarked on two years of intensive renovation, 90% of which we carried out ourselves, with the desire to respect the soul of the place while making it warm and pleasant to live in today.
Since 2021, Montagnerot has opened its doors to welcome you to our family home.
A thoughtfully designed home
for stays in tribes
Surrounded by nature, with no neighbors, Montagnerot offers a rare setting to slow down. From the moment you arrive, what strikes you is the unobstructed view of the Auxois countryside and the historical character of the building: its monumental fireplaces and rooms nestled in the towers.
Outside, the 1,500m² garden, lovingly tended by Olivier, invites you to enjoy the outdoors as soon as the weather warms up. The saltwater swimming pool (open from May to October), the pétanque court, and the Tavern naturally extend the summer days (and even the winter ones).
Montagnerot is a house made for getting together, taking your time... and leaving with great memories.
